The Midland Company

The Midland Company began in 1938 as a consumer finance company, and expanded into insurance starting in the 1960s.  For a number of years, we were a major builder of manufactured homes, and we are still a leading insurer for that specialty line.

Today, through our subsidiary, American Modern Insurance Group, we are a well-known and respected property and casualty insurer, writing business in all 50 states.  We also provide valuable insurance and tracking services to the banking and lending marketplace.
